Having dedicated his life to music since an early age, Joe Darone, pursued a career as a drummer and then in 2003 he decided to focus on songwriting allowing for Suit of Lights to be born.

The genre defying band takes its listeners on a musical adventure far into the unknown with each track. The band, named after The Matador’s Traje de luces, symoblise the beauty and brutality of life with their strong melodic sensibility with varying influences.

Suit of Lights' track, "Monsters" (from the LP/CD Break Open the Head) is featured on PROG Magazine's P45: See Emily Play compilation.

Press for Break Open the Head :

“So damn catchy. Darone’s tone is just beautiful…lyrics hit it on the head…very strong.” -  http://thevinylrevivers.com/" rel="nofollow - thevinylrevivers.com

"Edgy, experimental-ish, cutting-edge theatrical alt-rock...likely to inspire creativity in others both within and beyond the the field of music." -  http://geoffwilburmusic.com/" rel="nofollow - geoffwilburmusic.com

"An ambitious concept album...this is worth repeat listens. Give it a try." -  http://powerpopaholic.com/" rel="nofollow - powerpopaholic.com

"Heavenly and haunting guitar/keyboard soundscapes...The pliant, Prog-peppered playing teems with tempo changes, such as when the title track's frisky, Franz Ferdinand-like rhythm suddenly shifts into a stylish, Styx Grand Illusion-inspired surge. With tantalizing trimmings like charming carousel organ on "New Frontier," merry Middle Eastern melodies on "Revolution of You," Revolutionary War-era military drums on "Circling the Drain of History," and sweeping Scottish folk on "Reality 2.0," Break is another beaut." -  http://bigtakeover.com/" rel="nofollow - bigtakeover.com
