R.I.P Gilli Smyth - Shakti Yoni, Mother Gong, 83 years old, who contributed vocals, poems and `space whispers' to so many beautiful Gong albums, as well as solo and collaboration works and her own Mother Gong band. That reunion on Mars with Daevid Allen must be shaping up to be a pretty beautiful group.

Oh man. I think she added an extra something to Gong's music that nobody else would have ever been able to add. It was never Daevid Allen's band. It was Daevid's and Gilli's - both playing a prominent role. I guess we'll all see eachother on planet Gong someday... The best witch of all times... R.I.P.
