Rising Runner Missed By Endless Sender

Rising Runner is nothing less than a masterpiece IMO, while Tyger is a nice song.  Of course Tyger has the more traditional and better vocals.  I prefer the closing track on the Tyger album which is lovely.

Rising Runner by far...

BTW, although a little repetitive, the instrumental remix on Dream Mixes 4 is surprisingly not bad at all:

Rising Runner is very interesting, Tyger is quite boring.

Tyger  For Nostalgic reasons! I love T.D from their first album till early 90's.

Never a big fan of Rising Runner,  now if it was Bent Cold Sidewalk instead...

This is the version of Tyger that I have.  The cd has 3 extra tracks and the song Tyger has some more percussion and the vocals are treated.  I like this one better.

Bent Cold Sidewalk is an amazing track

Another no-brainer after the GG poll. Rising Runner Missed by Endless Sender is pretty good (though I prefer Bent Cold Sidewalk by a fair margin). Tyger fails to distinguish itself from other randomly picked 1980's garbage, though the vocals are ok.

I found it very refreshing to listen to Rising Runner (yes, this is Tangerine Dream) after Tyger (is this Tangerine Dream?). Yet I was shocked when I heard Cyclone for the first time back in 1978 because of the vocals.

I used to read that Cyclone was supposed to be a "not good" album. Wonder how and why? The reviews were spectacularly uninformative and seriously contributed to me not buying that rubbish (magazines not T Dream!) ever again.

Tremendous atmosphere on that album. So yes, voted Rising Runner.

Rising Runner. The Cyclone album was a bit of a shock but I got used to it and like it now, it reminds me of the new wave of electronic music that started a year or so later, particularly Visage, but very quickly turned into dull synth pop and New Romantic. I wouldn't have identified Tyger as a TD track if you hadn't said, as my collection ends in 1986. I have no idea what the lyrics are about but for some reason they remind me of this Cool.
