It's safe to say that Marillion have made quite a few brilliant album closers; they have mastered the art of ending the album's journey in the right fashion for that particular journey. But which is your personal favourite?

House is probably one of the best songs they ever put out. Great piece of work, very nice triphop, and lovely trumpet.

this is hard, I have to think a bit

why not consider The New Kings as a whole?

Fugazi is incomparable.

Because Tomorrow's New Country isn't part of The New Kings. On the back cover, it's listed separately, as 'track' 6. And yes, I know it's short, but that's the way they've sequenced the album, so TNC is the official closer.

Fugazi followed by 100 Nights. On the other side of the spectrum, A Few Words for the Dead may be the worst thing they ever did.

I have listened to about half of these and vastly prefer Fish era Marillion. That being said, it is still a toss up between Fugazi and Final Straw. I went with the latter seeing as it was without votes. Gotta love that guitar solo from Steve-o.

Very tough one. I will go for King. Next would be Neverland, Forgotten Sons, This Strange Engine and Fugazi.

Forgotten Sons is the song I like the most in the whole Marillion discography.

...but Rothery reused the guitar solo from Grendel. Not a nice thing to do.

Many good songs here. You might think I'm crazy, but I'll go with "This Strange Engine", followed by "Made Again".

Wrong answer, sorry. A masterpiece that is sadly more relevant today than ever.

Definitely a band of two halves so ... Fugazi.

Their closing songs are the best, because you know the album is going to end soon. It's pretty much a tie with all of them, they all equally provide that release.
