I had no idea this was a thing until I saw it sitting on a shelf in my local record shop and nearly Censored myself. It's a four disc set that includes the original album, a quad mix of Paranoid and two live concerts from this era: one at the Montreux Casino and the other being the heavily bootlegged Brussels concert - most of which can be found in Past Lives. Listening to the Brussels concert and while it doesn't have the clean sound of the first two records, it's nice to finally get my hands on it.

A bit of warning: this is a case where I can't stand the whole cardboard LP replica as opposed to a CD case (either that or Warner bros. messed on the manufacturing). My copy of the Brussels CD has some biffs on it and while I was able to successfully put in on my computer with no problem, it's bound to skip on players that are sensitive to that sort of thing, so watch out.

Nah, no Steve Wilson.

BTW, I also listened to the Montreux tape and was impressed with the sound quality. The band was on fire with these concerts.

Two live sets is a good deal.  I'll have to check it out.

I hated the previous deluxe Sabbath editions where the bonus discs were more or less the songs arranged and performed almost exactly the same as the regular album, only without vocals.  That was a waste.  Too much of the recent Zeppelin reissues were the same deal.  There were a few interesting things on those bonus discs, but aside from the debut album bonus disc, which was a live set, 80% or so of the tracks were close enough to the regular album tracks that it was just a waste.

I don't care about the quad mix for Paranoid, but I'll definitely check out the live stuff, especially since I don't have any Sabbath boots from that period.
