He is not the only one. There are some more distasteful stories to be to be told about deceased popes from Formosus (late IXth century) to Paul VI (1963-78). If he would be a great corpse, the Holy See might be a fitting career advice. I voted for POTUS, just because of all the biases that go with that function. Give the Donald a chance. Barack Obama won the Nobel Peace Prize before he could profile himself as president and president-elect Donald Trump should pursue another career even before his inauguration. Admitted, I was too keen on voting as well. Maybe he should be Pope. There have been more people who ascended the Holy See in their seventies, including Frankie. -------------

I think he's set. Can sit back and vaca in Scotland while his cabinet does all the work and he signs his name to it, (the first rubber stamp President?) and never has to worry about crashing his businesses or anything like that. He is now set for life: A damn generous pension till he dies, not to mention all the book deals and paid speeches he can handle. Hell he doesn't even need to make foreign policy decisions! Putin has that all taken care of. He's got the best gig ever for himself.

President, of course, even though I don't fully agree with his views. I do think his opposition to political correctness is really good. It's almost impossible to speak like an adult with lots of americans today. They are easily offended, and (auto)censorship of topics and unpopular points of view is way over the top when compared to the rest of the world. Herd mentality sucks big time. He's less of a warmonger than Bush, Obama and Clinton. Also good. Now, the most dangerous thing about Trump is protectionism. This might ruin the US. When it comes to immigration...well, same old, same old. You DO know people willing to go over bullets in order to reach the US is not the best kind of immigrant you might find around. Hell, those guys can't even speak their own language to begin with. Open the borders, get rid of freebies and social help (even for lazy americans, of course), and you'll see the arrival of really clever, skilled people. Democrats might lose a lot of votes, though. ------------- Two random guys agreed to shake hands. Just Because. They felt like it, you know. It was an agreement of sorts...a random agreement. |

I had a major hair cutting mistake yesterday, and now look almost as bald. I went with used car salesman, but I think he'd make a pretty mean rapper under the name T-Rump if he could bust a rhyme rather than just repeat the same word over and over again and pass that off as if it were a rhyme. He does appear to have a pretty limited vocabulary. He'd also be one sick twerker. "You know, it really doesn’t matter what the media write as long as you’ve got a young and beautiful piece of ass" (Donald J. Trump, aka Da T-Rump). ------------- Just a fanboy passin' through. |

Yesterday, I saw a documentary about him on TV and I discovered a few more informations about his career, especially his famous giant casino which had been nothing but a huge failure, leaving his company on the verge on bankruptcy: in fact, he's not the "awesome businessman" he says he is. But what I learned with this documentary is that he managed to make money (and stay rich) by selling... his name. So, yeah, he could be T-Rump, the rapper bragging about himself over and over, with one word in his, er, "rhymes": Trump. He would repeat it on and on for 5 or 6 minutes (maybe longer on the 12'' version) and people would buy this record just because it would be labeled TRUMP everywhere on the cover! |
