Hi Everyone, hope you're all well!

I've been an observer of the website/forums for sometime, but wanted to join now to share some music my friend Andy & I have made as 'The Black Light'. We're huge lovers of modern prog bands such as Oceansize, Pure Reason Revolution, Karnivool, Mew, Vessels, etc, so have looked to channel those influences into our songs. Self-promotion driven, I know, but sincerely our aim is to share the music with other people who might like it & making money is not really in our thoughts. If there are any people reading this with similar tastes, we'd love for you to take a second to check out our album 'All Forgotten Dreams': https://theblacklightuk.bandcamp.com/album/all-forgotten-dreams
https://open.spotify.com/album/7f5CITiwfvtI5zdih1pEEm

Furthermore, I'm keen to discover similar bands & music, so will be rummaging around for recommendations!

Cheers,
Martin

Sounds a lot like Oceansize. I also really like the album cover.
I will certainly listen to the album in full. You might fill a melancholically empty gap Smile

Thank you very much! I like to think the Oceansize influence is noticeable, so it's good that you can hear it! Thank you also for checking out the album. It should definitely do a good job at filling melancholic gappage, as most of the tracks have pretty dark themes.

Ahh, 'In Absentia', my favourite Porcupine Tree album!
