How would you rate this Rush long-side epic from Hemispheres? I give it 3 stars, this song is too long, it has some musically great moments(esp.first 3 minutes), but also some boring and very repetitive parts.

Five stars. The greatness of the piece is more than just that it's long and epic; it's the music. Vastly inferior to part 1 on A Farewell to Kings. I remember (I was 20-ish) seeing that they were doing a part 2 and getting super excited. Only to be let down by the boring excesses the band made. Ho hum. The rest of the album is brilliant however.

| If somebodies are saying Hemispheres doesn´t evolve or is too repetitive, then they can say the same to Close to the Edge. And I prefer Hemispheres to Close to the Edge. I think the greatest entities doesn´t go all the time somewhere new direction, the real great compositions have some thread in them. |
