Established in 2009, the band continues to set high standards, always pushing themselves in song craft, and is no stranger to Melbourne’s progressive rock scene.

The release of EP 'Voices Unknown' (2011) and single ‘Faces’ (2012) proved great success among fans, with 'Voices Unknown' seeing a sold-out show in one of Melbourne’s most iconic venues, ‘The Esplanade Hotel’.

Their performances include sharing the stage across Australia with heavyweights such as 'Dead Letter Circus' and 'Twelve Foot Ninja', and international acts 'Flyleaf' (USA), and 'Klone' (France), cementing their reputation as “an act not to be missed.”

In 2013, Branch Arterial began producing their debut album. Moving along with a fantastic start, the band was forced into hiatus after bassist (Kade Turner) was involved in a horrific motorcycle accident in South America – almost costing him his life.

Shortly following this traumatic event, lead vocalist Nigel Jackson began battling a life-threatening illness, which involved a bone marrow transplant. After substantial stays in hospital and extensive periods of treatment, both Turner and Jackson have thankfully recovered well.

Their latest album, Beyond The Border, is their heaviest effort yet, and is a brutally honest release and reflection of their relentless drive to overcome adversity.

Seeking out new vital forms of musical expression with the truly memorable edge that they have become known for, the album will see the light of day on Friday 28th April 2017.

Yes, Branch Arterial are back – and in a big way – and they are ready to share their story with the world!
