Which Deep Purple album you like better? I love them both very much, but In Rock wins in my book, hands down.

Both are equal but I vote for In Rock anyway, as it was my first record I heard from DP back in the '80s. And it was like revelation - thunderous Ritchie guitar mixed with Jon's hammond runs... fantastic experience for my young ears then :-) -------------

| Both are great albums... Both are in my Deep Purple's top albums ( jointly with "The Book of Talyesin)... therefore is a very difficult choice, but pick " In Rock " by a very small difference ! |

Definitely In Rock.... (better recorded too) It would be a better match-up between Fireball and Machine Head. (the latter would edge the former) |

In Rock. Machine Head has terrific songs but Purple were at their heaviest and frankly meanest here. Into The Fire... The remasters make them even more fantastic. |

Machine Head was one of my first rock records. I was a young boy, and Machine Head becomes my fav for all of my life. I still love it. |
