So back in 2013, all of a sudden I stopped receiving email notifications from the forum, without me ever checking the box in my profile to not notify me anymore and with the correct email address filled in. I forgot about it for years until a couple of months ago I started getting new notifications again, flooding my inbox. I'm not interested in receiving them anymore so I tried to actually change the settings in my profile after all but it's not working! I keep getting lots of emails from threads I'm not even following anymore. Can anyone help to stop this? -------------

 Okay, so I literally just clicked that 'Subscriptions' tab for the first time ever, I never knew it worked that way... Still doesn't explain why I didn't get any notifications for years though. Anyway, I guess I'll remove those subscriptions after I've gone through the nostalgia trip of reading back all those old threads!-------------

I was surprised in the same way when suddenly receiving notifications again. For what I know, M@X stopped this facility once due to some overload problems on the server though now, with lesser forum activity, and probably some updates concerning software and/or performance, this might not have a huge impact anymore ... ------------- https://awesomeprog.com/users/Rivertree" rel="nofollow"> |

Okay, so I just tried to remove the subscriptions but they just don't disappear... I selected some of them and clicked 'unsubscribe' and they were still there, and it did the same thing when I selected all. I also just got another notification email so it definitely hasn't worked. Any help? -------------
