Hi all. I'd say by this point I'm a pretty big Flower Kings fan. After about 2 and a half years I've finally made my way through their 12 albums, and now I'm looking for more. I'm making this thread because I know the lead guy, Roine Stolt, is in a lot of different things. I know about his solo works, Kaipa, and Transatlantic, and those are all already on my listening list. I also listened to the Anderson/Stolt album recently released (wasn't a fan). I'm wondering, are there any other bands he's a part of? I'd like to know about them if they exist.

Also, I've heard the other band members are also in their own side projects. I'd be interested in knowing about those too.

Thanks!

Agents Of Mercy
Kaipa
Karmakanic
The Tangent
Anderson/Stolt
Transatlantic
Neal Morse

And later this Spring: The Sea Within.

Everything Stolt touches is golden in my book.

Try the first two Tangent albums, can't go wrong there :D

Don't discard Tomas Bodin.
He has some nice solo-albums.

But I must say I'm rather enthousiastic about anything Roine is involved in. I really like his style, his voice, his songwriting.

Excuse my ignorance but how is the Tangent related to TFK?

I think that Jonas Reingold plays bass on their latter albums too, if I remember correctly.

Zoltan Csorsz also plays drums.

So Tangent has three Flower Kings in the early line up 😉

If you like TFK, you will like Roine Stolt's solo albums (in addition to the first The Flower King, which was technically a solo album, he made 'Hyrdophonia' and 'Wall Street Voodoo', both excellent)
