This is worth celebrating, I think, as IMO it's one of the greatest live albums ever put on tape and it has long been out of print.

The new double CD release on GAD has the six tracks from the original 2001 CD plus two additional sets from the same tour of Sweden (from Kolback and Sundsvall). If the band was on the same form as it was in Carlsbad then this is going to be worth buying even for those who have the original CD.

I note that according to the PA database there was a Metal Mind re-release of the album in 2006 with two additional tracks (I assume also from the Karlstad gig, though as I only have the 2001 CD I can't confirm this). Disappointingly these two tracks aren't on the new double CD.

I agree that one is a monster and one of the best live albums I've ever heard.

YEah...somehow those box set bonuses are only in the box. It's quite frustrating.

Admitedly, I've never heard this album, but I'm a fan of live SBB so I'll definitely be putting this on the radar.

I bought "Karlstad 1975 plus". It was worth it.
