Natural Science, Jacob Ladder, not prog? It's as much of a prog album as Drama(imo). At the very least it's as much of a prog album as "moving pictures."

Good god man.. am I speaking f**king greek here.. did IQ's drop here... did you all stop learning how to read much less listen to music haha. I said Permanent Waves was a transition album.. from their 70's prog phase (Caress through Hemispheres) to the MTV/AOR/Arena Rock band they became in the 80's and beyond sure it has some prog elements to it.. along with elements of the AOR/Arena Rock band they became thus.. hah.. the term transition album ------------- The Pedro and Micky Experience - When one no longer requires psychotropics to trip |

Both are somewhat goofy sounding to these ears and not even approaching their best. Those Yes boys really rolled the dice though with their two new players, and the result was quite hearty. I just listened to Drama today to refresh my memory. I take my comment back. Not really any filler. It's better than I remembered and way better than most of the later albums. I still like Permanent Waves more.... but Drama gets a strong four stars ! ------------- Prog On! |
