I was going to include Rick Wakeman's lady of the lake but it's only 35 seconds long. Also, I thought about "ladies of the road" but already had "lady of the dancing water" and didn't want to open up the flood gates to "ladies" songs.
Also, I know some of these aren't really prog but they are all still bands on progarchives so if you chose "other" pleanse make sure it's a band on this website.

Going with Lady of the Dancing Water here. Such a beautiful, serene interlude piece. damn right it is awesome Ken.. if you liked that one.. you might check out 'The Park' from the same album. However Uriah Heep was pretty heavy... ^ apparently UH was big in Germany and other parts of Europe too. The only song I remember hearing on the radio was "Return to Fantasy" which I think might have had John Wetton as singer?

Should that song really be mentioned in a prog forum though? Sure, it's good and it's arguably the first disco song but it's not even prog related. Ok, I'll admit those costumes are pretty prog but that's about it.

"Green eyed lady" is sort of an early prog song isn't it? Or at least proto prog. There weren't many really true US prog bands at that time so I guess that would be as close as any of them.

Uriah Heep - Lady in Black. I don't care much for Uriah Heep, but this is a brilliant song. A band I was in the past played it live once or twice.
