Burntfield was formed 2012 in Finland, but - after a series of line-up changes - the quartet is now established in Amsterdam. The debut album Hereafter was released on the Irish label Progressive Gears Records 7th May 2018. The band mix elements of AoR and hard rock with classic prog overtones to produce music strong on both melody and harmony. Hereafter comprises 9 songs of alternative prog built upon strong melodies and powerful harmonies. The core quartet of the band is supported with guest appearances by keyboardist Arttu Vauhkonen (Arion), string quintet ANSoS and kantele artist Aurora Visa. The stunning, atmospheric album art was created by Jesse Harrison and provides a beautifully matching visualisation of the music.
