Virulence was prog/tech/jazz death/grindcore band from USA. They made one demo and one LP (both very short). 
Their music is very intense and dynamic with progressive background and great composition.
It's on the level of more hardcore John Zorn or Dillinger Escape Plan but more jazzy and sound better to me.
