I think Jonas really loves it...  I had a smoke with him back in May, and told him my appreciation of the Karmakanic albums, and he got the biggest grin in his face.

...he's tall, so I was tempted to say "gentle giant".

MO,did you know Krister Jonzon of Karmakanic is Roine's replacement in The Tangent?Jaime Salazar has also taken Zoltan's place behind the drum kit.

There is some incredible bass work on Karmakanic's albums, especially Wheel of Life.

As good as Entering The Spectra was, I don't think any of us were prepared for the incredible leap forward that Wheel Of Life brought...

So the Karmakanic guitarist replaced Roine in the Tangent?  Good to know it's someone competent.

Do you think if Karmakanic put out another album Zoltan will be playing drums for them?Him and Jonas seem to work together in a lot of projects. One of the best rhythm sections in prog,IMO.

Him and Zoltan are a GREAT duo...  I'm keen on Jonas/Marcus as well...  apparently they're all old friends.

So really, either combo would work...  there is something exceedingly amazing about Zoltan's jazzy work, though.

I agree.Have you heard Time Requiem's "The Inner Circle of Reality"?Jonas and Zoltan play on that and it is strange hearing them play this heavier neo-classical/prog metal music.Very different from other projects they have worked on.

This is one of my favorite albums of recent times. Heck, of ALL TIMES! Great effort all around.

(I really can't say the same about their first album though. It's not bad... just nowhere near WoL, imho.)
