 Starcastle Announces New Music Available!

Starcastle is pleased to announce that we are releasing for download our new archive collection titled “Alchemy”.  This compilation contains five never-before -released songs as well as the original versions of six songs that previously appeared on our last studio album “Song of Times”.  Alchemy consists of demos, rehearsal tapes and several live performances while we were based in San Francisco in the 80’s, all available for download now at starcastlerocks.com.

More properly, Champaign IL (University of Illinois campus, south of Chicago about 3 hours drive).  

I was a friend of the band, they have done some magnificent work and are FAR more than a "Yes clone!" 

RIP Gary Strater, one of the best bassists I ever had the pleasure to know.

Yes, I'm also glad that there's more music from them. I also agree that they are not really a Yes clone, as many people considere them.

Great news - always a guilty pleasure for me, and they filled a 'Yes' gap for me during the time between Relayer and Going for the One. Despite the flak they received for their obvious influences from many purists, most of their tracks are very enjoyable.
