Sorry to be swamping the avant team here, but I'm confused as to why Alain Eckert is not on here. Art Zoyd is pretty beloved by avant fans here and the self-titled Alain Eckert Quartet album is pretty great stuff:

Kind of like if somebody immersed in the RIO and Zeuhl scenes decided to make a fusion album or something.

A no-brainer. A great LP in itself and the 30+ minutes of live bonus on Soleil Mutants 2013-version is top shelf zeuhl fusion and perhaps better than the original album
