"Great Expectations Live" is the longest concert album of Roz Vitalis at
the moment! It was recorded 2018-05-26 in Saint Petersburg at the
presentation of the most famous studio disc of the band titled "The
Hidden Man of the Heart".
The stuff includes both favourite tracks from "The Hidden Man of the
Heart" (the title track, Passing Over, Jungle Waltz etc) and newest
compositions such as "Premonition" and "Bait of Success" (the latter one
was performed for the first time ever). Furthermore, the album
contains reconsidered versions of Roz Vitalis classics such as
"Annihilator of Moral Hazard", "What Are You Thinking About?" and
"Ascension Dream", and also some other tracks.
"Great Expectations Live" is the recording of the second Roz Vitalis gig
with new drummer Evgeny Trefilov. He had replaced Philip Semenov
playing in the band since 2008. Evgeny is also responsible for mixing
and mastering of the album.
The release of this album is the first example of collaboration of Roz
Vitalis with famous Moscow label Artbeat Music (Arsenal, The
Gourishankar, Pandora Snail, Whalephant, Ascorbic Acid, Enine,
Rozmainsky & Mikhaylov Project etc).
