there are some bands that are not prog!! for example all the power metal! like kamelot, rhapsody, nightwish, therion, *angra, etc. those are REALLY REALLY AWESOME bandss!! but in their style, they are like, power/symphonic/speed metal, with a very very very little touch of prog, or something like that!! what other bands you think that shouldnt be in the archives? ------------- I still can't get how Dream Theater music is created by humans Dream Theater in Monterrey, Mexico 03.03.06 Unforgettable

Sorry, that was not a yes/no kind of question. I don't think speed metal bands should be on here. I have a sneaky liking for Nightwish as my niece is into them, but I don't think they belong here. |

Hmm. tough question. I am not really interested in who should go, I am rather busy with getting new bands included As for the original question, I would be happier if Asia wasn't here too, but as said I'm not really interested in whichever band should be kicked off! I haven't found enough "progness" in Radiohead either. Why the heck are they here? never listened to Nightwish and Kamelot. sorry, I can't comment on these! ------------- Listen to Turkish psych/prog; you won't regret: Baris Manco,Erkin Koray,Cem Karaca,Mogollar,3 Hürel,Selda,Edip Akbayram,Fikret Kizilok,Ersen (and Dadaslar) (but stick with the '70's, and 'early 80's!) |

At the risk of being
severely off-topic, how about bands that should be on the list but
ain't. Such as the Welsh group Man. When I first stumbled across PA
they were the first band I looked for. |
