My heart says Camel (who is hardly symphonic). I normally don't trust my heart but I made an exception. Both are wonderful though.

This is a nice one to ask and very tough. Both have a special place in my heart. I'd like to support the underdog but it wouldn't be honest to vote against all my great listening and concert experiences with Camel, so for once I vote both (despite not liking the inclusion of that category in general Tongue).

I was going to vote both equally but Renaissance has meant more to me in recent years, buoyed by frequent live performances in the US Northeast

Maybe I'm wrong, but I feel like another poll would make it alright.

Two random guys agreed to shake hands. Just Because. They felt like it, you know. It was an agreement of sorts...a random agreement.

Yeah I like both of these but I like Camel more, they're kind of special.

Renaissance for me. Annie's vocals are too heavenly not to vote for them.

Two bands whose music I love and enjoy very much. That said, Camel gets my vote, but only by a very small fraction.

Both equally, although I always thought Camel were at their best in their instrumental passages.

Indeed, though Latimer plays a magnificent guitar too.

Both extremely professional prog bands that didn't really shake things up at all but rather refined it. I took the both option because I can't get that excited by either.

People will think I'm overly generous but I have three 5 star albums for Renaissance (Ashes Are Burning, Scheherazide And Other Stories and A Song For All Seasons) as opposed to three 5 star albums from Camel (Mirage, The Snow Goose and Moonmadness) so it's a tie for me.

Wouldn't it have been great to have Latimer joining forces with Renaissance? Imagine that guitar and flute added to their sound.

It's beating on a dead dog because the advantage if huge, but Camel to me is like Valium.

So I'll go with Renaissance.
