Huge Ayreon fan here, and interested which you prefer from my list of the 5 best (IMHO).  Yes, I could have put all his/their albums, but I didn't.....

Anyway, 5 amazing albums, choose your favourite!

I think all five are quite good albums, and there's very interesting music in them. That being said, I'm more familiar with "The Theory of Everything" and therefore, it gets my vote.

Voted - The Theory of Everthing.

I like lots of their stuff, yet TTOE is their only album whose every song/part I like.

My favourite Ayreon song is Dawn of a Million Souls, though.

My vote went to THE, it was the first Ayreon album I heard and it absolutely blew me away on first listen like no other album before or since.  But TTOE and ITEC come pretty close....

Two random guys agreed to shake hands. Just Because. They felt like it, you know. It was an agreement of sorts...a random agreement.

For me, there's something really special captured in the duo of albums The Dream Sequencer / Flight of the Migrator, so I voted for that one.

I don't really know this band but I know they had two separate albums that were a part one and two(released around 2000)that was later re-released as one big package. I don't see either one listed here I don't think.

I love all five of those Ayreon albums in the poll, so I can't really choose one album as being better than the others. The Theater Equation is probably the best album overall, although that's not included in the poll. Smile
