I must admit i can sort of predict a landslide in favour of Tool. I must also admit i hold them in equal praise, they exceeds being generic and always push their music in new direction not scared of pulling in inffluence from external sources, other than metal. Tool is ever changing but also eternaly patiant. Deftones is also ever changing and have that awesome power of being both heavy and soft. I feel both bands have equal strength and weeknesses that would lead me to vote either way. I like the sound of Deftones and tends to return to them more often but i do not refrain to listen to Tool, and their skelleton of music and scope of compositions are very impressive. -------------
