Two of Genesis very best cuts, one following the other on the same side.

Easily OFTV, but if it were against blood on the rooftops it may be closer

One for the Vine is probably the only Genesis song that I still come back to now.

Both are good but I like the middle section of One for the Vine.

great way to start an album with back to back stellar songs.  Slight win for Vine

One For The Vine although both tracks feel a bit too 'stiff'. One For The Vine was great live especially when Chester and Phil double team the middle bit.  It's 'Side Two' where the real gems are on this album for me.

Mar for me. I really only like the middle few minutes of One For The Vine. The beginning puts me to sleep.

Both, along with the album may be a bit Banks heavy and lacking in other instrumentals

It's not on the menu, but I'm voting for "...In That Quiet Earth" anyway. That track sends shivers down my spine whenever I hear it.

Hard choice, but I'll vote for One for the Vine.

Am I the only one who thinks ...I’m that quiet earth could be a Camel song?

For those who love In That Quiet Earth check out the recent Steve Hackett Genesis Revisited album with orchestra. It has a brilliant version and he keeps it as the Segway into Afterglow as well. Thumbs Up

One for the Vine. A Banks masterpiece.

11th Earl is a fantastic album opener tough, full of energy and drama.

W&W is another classic Genesis album, although I always prferred Trick, and W&W would have benefited from another Hackett track, and skipping Mouses Night & Wot Gorilla IMO.
