As long as I don't dream of that big hairy MBarney beast, I'm okay. Last night it was Maripier Morin...boy, she gave an awesome performance.

Sometimes at work I’ll just sit on PA refreshing the page hoping for a good discussion to pop up.

I guess I have too much time on my hands, anyways, your dream definitely doesn’t sound like the best of times. Usually during good dreams I’m saying don’t let it end, but if I was dreaming about Dennis Deyoung I’d probably be hoping it’s all just a grand Illusion.

LOL!  I saw Styx in concert at Univ of Illinois in 1973 or so, when "Lady" was a hit single.  They were OK, not nearly as pompous as later years.

However, I could have done without the followup gig.  Ugh!  Styx!!

It’s pretty easy to dog on Styx, but their new album was an actually surprising well produced, quite progressive effort. The song red Storm In particular Is a really cool song. Otherwise you can jump ship after pieces of eight.

I saw DDY live probably a year and change ago, pretty good show.

I saw them open for Yes one year and they were a lot better than Yes that night. I'm not a super duper huge fanboy fan but I like them quite a bit.

Yeah I’d rather see a show of Dennis deyoung power ballads any day than have to see a 2020 Yes show tbh

I know I spend too much time on PA because I tell everyone I meet about ProgArchives, even though most people I meet aren't into Prog-Rock. Smile

Not sure what you know about the current lineup of Styx but Dennis DeYoung is no longer in the band( he hasn't been in the band in quite some time actually). However, he has his own band that does Styx tunes from when he was in the band and was even featured on PBS not too long ago. I saw some of it and it was very entertaining to see the least.

I just like to spread the word about a great music site, even if everyone I meet isn't always listening. Smile
