Since everyone is doing Rush posts in honor of Neil Peart I thought this might be cool.

One indication of the popularity of Rush is the various nods they have received over the years in movies & TV shows. (South Park & Archer come to mind)

Jeez, don't these tv producers know any other Rush songs besides "Tom Sawyer?" Lol.  

Also, I personally don't think Rush should be the first time band mentioned in regards to the term prog rock but I guess that's how it is anyway for a lot of people now. At least tv is now finally not afraid to use the "p word."

Ray Donovan not a fan of Rush apparently and prefers Bob Seger LOL ( unable to find a clip though)
