Great instrumental prog band. Mix of Zappa, Canterbury, classical, jazz… Fun, colorful weird blend of music. One to check out if you have not heard them.

Can't pick between The Case Against Art, The Violence of Amateurs or Pardon Our French. All superb! Any fans want to share their fave album?

I haven;t heard most French TV albums or listened to the band in a long time, and those three you mention are the only ones I think I've heard. The Violence of Amateurs and The Case Against Art are the ones I've listened to the most. Good stuff. When I think of French TV I often also think of Frogg Cafe (frog is derogatory for the French, and both have Zappa qualities, and I got to know both at the same time).

Watching while most appreciating a sunset in the moment need not diminish all the glorious sunsets I have observed before. It can be much like that with music for me.

They have long career and good sense. Mockingbird or Ambassadors I've pretty enjoyed.

That's pretty much the case. I was really into them a few years ago but haven't listened in a while. My favorite is still Violence of Amateurs but really most of the later albums are really good

Thanks for all positive comments. They deserve better. Overlooked gem of prog. Been binging on FTV... not a bad note or song. Audio quality also killer.
