If you are one of those people who become more melancholic at the end of summer, probably you'll like these songs. But, which one do you like best?
I voted for Premiata Forneria Marconi.

Premiata Forneria Marconi - "Impressioni di settembre" (1972)

Pascal Comelade (feat. Robert Wyatt)  - "September Song" (2000)

David Minasian - "Summer's End" (2011)

Höstsonaten - "Edge of Summer" (2011)

Christiaan Bruin - "Days of Summer Gone" (2013)

Crowned In Earth - "Summer's Pride" (2015)

I am a big fan of Robert Wyatt and do enjoy that Pascal Comelade one very much. My second favourite of these is the PFM.

None of these.
The best is "September" by a Scottish band called Cado Belle (Maggie Reilly was lead vocalist) - but they're not prog.

Blue Oyster Cult's Last Days Of May. But I suppose it depends on which end of the plant yer on...

Actually for me it's the Doors Summer's Almost one. Very seasonal and not location sensitive...
