Subject: Buying CDs online from Italy?
Date Posted: October 15 2020 at 11:47
Hi, I am new to this forum.

I am located in Canada and wanted to ask if anybody has bought CD's from this site:

 https://www.btf.it/

Anybody has experience buying from them?

I only want to buy 3 or 4, shipping will be expensive already, does anybody know if I will be slapped with high duty taxes?

Any other recommendation of a site to buy online? Looking of albums by Riverside, IQ, All Traps on Heart, Anglagard.

Thanks

I have ordered in the past but Italian Post can be moody at best....much like Canada Post Unhappy
There is a great shop in Montreal called Freeson Rock , www.freesonrock.com , they been around for 30 years and they have decent prices as well as all kinds of goodies both CD and vinyl. They have all the ones you mentioned and more .... great store.

Ordered lots of RPI CDs/DVDs from btf.it in the past, everything was OK. Only positive experience.
Now I'm buying less music than before, but I believe BTF keep their standards high as ever.

Try Laser CD, they are in NJ but have some of the best prices and they focus of progressive rock genre and sub genre. Tons of CDs and they do vinyl as well books and videos.
I buy a decent amount from them......Super reliable and ship quick.

Just made a purchase from Greg a month or two ago.  He still has the best and most personalized service around.  Very knowledgable too!
I miss the festivals where I used to rummage through his stock when not being entertained by some premiere prog acts.

Burningshed.com is a good source for prog CDs; I believe a few bands use it as their main store. Just got some CDs shipped to Canada from there (UK) and it only took a week; didn't have to pay any surprise duties or taxes; just the price of the product and shipping.
