Previously unreleased ‘70s prog rock on newly remastered, limited-edition vinyl

Inspired by the Canterbury sound, Watford band Twenty-Five Views of Worthing were inches away from a record deal with Island in the early ‘70s. Thankfully, through their friendship with Island studio engineer Phill Brown (Talk Talk), their recordings from 1972 and 1973 were preserved in crystal clear audio fidelity.

The band were active in various guises throughout the ‘70s and also cut a rare independent EP in 1977. This new LP compiles all the band's recordings from 1972 through to 1977, the majority of which have never previously been released in any format.

Mixing the Canterbury sound with a dash of art-rock, this LP is recommended for fans of Soft Machine, Caravan, Egg and Hatfield & The North.

Many thanks for the technical help!

There have been discussions about a CD though nothing scheduled at the moment. I could provide a digital copy if someone was interested in reviewing it?

OK, I signalled this thread to the Cantervury team.

Yeah, yoyu could send digital files, but not for reviewing just yet.

First the team will need to analyse (more than those two YT samples)  to see whether the music fits, before opening a band and an album page, then only thinking about reviewing it.

It sounds like an easy yes from me. Can anyone load the entire album on to YouTube or some other place to sample the entire album? A long lost Canterbury album is a big deal in the prog world!

Has there been any progress about this band's inclusion? Smile
