Hi, I cannot hear progressive essence enough through their sample you provided above. Any other samples? (a full-length album is much better).

They describe themselves as 'psych art rock from Kharkiv, Ukraine' on bandcamp, from where you can sample their three albums:  https://lahorsabianca.bandcamp.com/" rel="nofollow - https://lahorsabianca.bandcamp.com/ .

They are also on spotify:  https://open.spotify.com/artist/2itt2C7yd8b9yEMlYNTB7n" rel="nofollow - https://open.spotify.com/artist/2itt2C7yd8b9yEMlYNTB7n .

The first two albums can also be found in full by visiting the band's YouTube channel:  https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCUgWeOFjOzVzfcg8uIiNNjg/videos" rel="nofollow - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCUgWeOFjOzVzfcg8uIiNNjg/videos .

All these streaming samples can be found via their website too:  https://lahorsabianca.com/" rel="nofollow - https://lahorsabianca.com/ .

Their facebook page is at  https://www.facebook.com/lahorsabianca" rel="nofollow - https://www.facebook.com/lahorsabianca .

Not much info to create a bio from was immediately obvious on the web whilst collecting those links together, though I didn't have a thorough search for it.

Don’t know if this band ever were evaluated, but they definitely seem worthy of inclusion in the PA database.

Here’s my review of their latest album, if anyone is interested:

Writing a bio could expedite the addition. Which, of course, should have been provided with the original suggestion.

I wasn’t trying to rush things. I didn’t even know if they had been evaluated. I can ask the band for a bio, though. Eugene, who sent me the album for review, seems more than happy to oblige with anything. The very short bio he provided with the album was:

La Horsa Bianca is a band from Kharkiv, Ukraine influenced by the psychedelic and the progressive, the minimalist and the extravagant, resulting in music rooted in the complex rock of the 70s but also in touch with the present day.”

[EDIT] I was not the person who suggested the band. I’m sure you realise that, but just in case! 👍🏻

What does "La horsa bianca" mean? I know "bianca" is Italian for "white", but I can't find any meaning for "horsa" in any language.

Given the band’s logo is a white horse, I presume the band’s name is meant to mean The White Horse.

I presume they are using the Old English name Horsa, which means horse, as in Hengist and Horsa.

I suspected it was meant to mean "horse". But the combination with Italian is somewhat confusing. In Italian "horse" is either "cavallo" or "equino".
