It appears this thread realized it was in its best situation to answer to YES.

A masterpiece by a genre-defining band, part of my personal Big 8, with stellar formation, at its prime (early 80's). Can't really ask for more.
Fugazi.

Weakest Fish album versus strongest Yes album minus Jon Anderson. Drama it is.

^ Agree. That's why I voted both. Not that I like them necessarily equally (if that is ever possible), but the day and the mood may make me prefer to listen to one over the other and/or the other way around...

I liked Fugazi when it was first released almost 40 (?!?) years ago. In the interest of good taste, I have since that time purged ALL Fish-era Marillion from my life.
Yet even when I was still listening to that album, I would have said that Drama is by far the better album between the two.

I don't think it was decline, or is it what people say when a band changes line-up, is it decline? It would be decline if the songwriting of the new line-up was poor, which is not the case with Yes's Drama.
So you've voted for Fugazi?

Drama wasn't bad but the arrival of Horn and Downes didn't really stop the band becoming self-parody whereas Fugazi sounded fresh and dynamic - a band on the up...

Self-parody? I don't see how they were mocking themselves...
I've read the album was poorly received when it was released, nevertheless the album got some respect and appreciation throughout the years. I for one listened to the album for the first time back in early 2000s, a friend of mine had the album and I borrowed it. I loved it instantly, it's one of my favorites from Yes to be honest.

Fugazi for me. Neither album is a masterpiece, and both are generally underrated, but for me Marillion's sophomore offering has aged better than Drama.

No, I didn't mean self-mockery! At the time, I don't recall thinking it was a 'return to form' for Yes or a new direction either... I didn't get to see the tour. At the time 90125 seemed much more interesting but that has aged very badly...
