Ad Nauseam were a short-lived band formed in 1989 around multi-instrumentalist Jon Poole and drummer Bob Leith. Playing a style of punk-inspired neo-prog heavily influenced by the Cardiacs, Poole would later be noticed by Tim Smith and invited to join the band. Ad Nauseam dissolved soon afterwards in 1991, and Leith would join the Cardiacs in 1993, playing in the lineup that would eventually record the seminal "Sing to God" two years later. Ad Nauseam's sole record "4 Little Boys" will certainly appeal to fans of the Cardiacs and their satellite projects, along with Sparks, Sterbus and Emme Phyzema.

Interestingly enough the metal team is evaluating another band with the same name. This one sounds interesting and i'll check it out. Love me some obscure proggy art punk. I'm sure the RIO / avant team will get to this soon.

Haha, I know, I actually stumbled onto this group while submitting the death metal project (and I'm surprised I'd not heard of them before, seeing as how I love the Cardiacs). I hope you enjoy this, it should be completely up your alley.

Searching the web I've found another "Ad Nauseam": British hardcore punk from 1980.

Thanks Keshiro, I realised I screwed up the coding in my original submission (URL instead of TUBE) so the YT link wasn't made more visible.
