The premise of the project is self-explanatory. Every participant names three songs in order of preference: 1st = 4.5 points 2nd = 3 points 3rd = 2 points After a couple of days (weeks, months  ) I add up your "points" and announce the winning song for a current spot. Then we move on and vote for the next spot. All points are reset.Voting is closed. No. 15 song is THE SPIRIT OF RADIO 1. The Spirit of Radio. 19.5 pts 2. Limelight. 17.0 pts 3. I love that picture, 1977 was my first Rush show in Santa Monica (I think). I don't remember much of it back then there was so much smoking at those shows, both kinds so as a young kid it was distracting. The volume was soooo freaking loud too you almost don't remember much of the music.......I remember lots of girls at the early Rush shows. -------------

In all honesty I'm not a great fan of Rush. There are a few albums I like (shall we say "the usual ones") but when I've tried some of their other albums it hasn't clicked (Clockwork Angels, Power Windows). I'm missing many of their albums. So I don't know them well enough. But the songs that are coming through are pretty much from the era I do like, so it's shaping up to be a rather fab Rush playlist... |
