I'll vote for Red Barchetta as it was the song I loved the most out of the three when I first heard them, although these days none of those would rank in my Rush top 10.

Ultimately bored by endless ecstasy!

Red Barchetta was the musical adventure here, so...

I like them all, but Red Barchetta is the best.

The Trees was my song when I was a teen, I loved the drumming and of course the percussive playing of the temple blocks, chimes....Still a wonder.

But I chose Freewill, today....

"Freewill" — had "Limelight" been chosen, it'd be a no-brainer.

The Trees just over Red Barchetta.

Anecdote time, though it's not mine.

My dad's girlfriend was a rebel in Catholic school (not surprisingly, he's not Catholic anymore). For a poetry writing assignment, he lifted the lyrics of The Trees, and the teacher was quite impressed. He got a great grade by exploiting the nun's ignorance of Rush, hahaha.

Freewill over Red Barchetta

I could vote for any of them. All are great.

Really tough but I chose Freewill. The fact that a song with time signatures like 13/4, 5/4, 15/4, and 12/8 could get on the radio so easily is definitely a testament to the band's fantastic songwriting ability

For me, Red Barchetta > The Trees > Freewill quite clearly. Now, between Red Barchetta and A DFarewell to Kings (song) poll would break my mind

Red Barchetta!
It could be almost about me, except my own car is blue and has got a folding roof, unlike a true barchetta. But my sentiments match those in the song.

But what about the rebel girlfriend?

But what about the rebel girlfriend?

Well, she and I share a fondness for musical theater rather than share an affinity for Rush. I'm in the Rush camp, though I could see a Rush musical working. ALL THE WORLD'S A STAGE.

If I choose not to decide, does it still mean I've made a choice?

I'd choose the Trees but I'm cold on the lyrics.  I'd choose Red Barchetta but I'm cold on the topic of the song.  I'd choose Freewill but I like the two other songs more.

You may be overthinking this one a little. LOL

Freewill and Barchetta are in my top 10 Rush songs but geez, which one to pick over the other?

Today, I will choose Freewill

But The Trees was my first exposure to Rush and remains on of my very favourite tracks
