A) Original bio + Pic

Crusade is a progressive metal project founded by guitarist and Youtuber Michael Kupris in 2019. The band has been working for their long-awaited debut album 'Rising Visionary' that is to be released on April 16, 2021. The main influenced on Kupris' songwriting are Opeth, Dream Theater, Metallica, Iron Maiden, and the Beatles, who goes on to describe his newly-formed way like that: "Taking the "pretentious" out of prog and replacing it with raw, powerful artistry."
Crusade was formed in Nashville, Tennessee and the rest of the personnel features Jesse Peck on keyboards, Steve Castro on bass, and Ryan Metroka on drums. On their debut album, several guest singers and guitar players appear, among which another Youtube musician, the vocalist Anthony Vincent from the channel 'Ten Second Songs'.

D*) A side note: It is clear that this band will be admitted to the Progressive metal category on PA sooner or later, given the style they are displaying and the influences that Kupris clearly propagates in his videos (Because as we all see, progressive metal has also become a sub-genre with somewhat of a blurred boundary, and many bands that are not necessarily progressive in their approach towards creating and writing music get mistaken for prog metal, and therefore get this label which they wave around), the question is could this happen before the release of their debut album, or the full body of work will be needed for the Prog Metal team to assess this case. Please let me know.

A picture of Mike Kupris that would better fit the regulations of PA, should they be indoctrinated (480x360 pixels). Smile

We'll have to wait until the album is available for streaming before passing him onto the Progressive Metal team.  Please send a reminder posted to this thread when it is available and I'll send it to the team for evaluation.
