Just to mark the occasion of the England team actually making it to the European final (and very hard luck on Denmark), what better way to celebrate than a poll?  (If you don't get it, check out 'Eddie and the Boys' by Wigwam)

No love for Wyatt's paean to a football?  'I'm the best football you have got'.  Along with the Genesis track, these are the only two directly football related songs by prog artists!

The Italian singer-songwriter Ligabue has "Una vita da mediano" (A life as midfield) in which he mentions Oriali, midfeld of the Italian team of Spain 1982.

Fearless - my second choice would be 'Celebration Day' by Led Zeppelin.
