It was indeed - the original title was 'Let's Roll Another One' (a reference to naughty marijuana hash spliff joints). Or maybe that was the original title of Candy and a Currant Bun. This is the third apples - oranges poll in a few months time, but it's always an interesting topic! Once again my answer: apples. Oranges are too self-indulgent. Their attitude is: look at me, look at me, I'm totally orange! Oranges are too poppy for me. Apples are much more modest, and much more subtle. They have different subgenres.Apples are the real progressive fruits. |
