Mechanical Man is Progressive metal band formed in 2012 in Moscow, RUSSIA The band made their debut on the Moscow stage in 2013, immediately after the release of their first studio EP, White Out, which received positive reviews from listeners and music critics. A year later, the single Madhouse was released, produced by Hiili Hiilesmaa, known for working with such bands as HIM, Lordi, Apocalyptica, Moonspell, Amorphis. Immediately after the release, Mechanical Man acted as the opening act for the Sonata Arctica concert. Throughout 2015, the group continues to actively tour in Russia and abroad, including playing as an opening act for the Blind Guardian, as well as performing with Leprous and Dream Theater at the MetropolisFest festival. In 2015, the band released their first full-length album, which was named the Breakthrough of the Year in Europe and was nominated for the title of "Best Album of the Year" in the genre of progressive metal according to the portal prog-sphere.com. A year later, the group became a finalist of the Emergenza international festival. Despite the visible successes, in 2017, some of the musicians left the group. The new line-up of the team was formed in 2019, at the same time the video for the song Wonderful World was released. A year later, the place of the band's frontman was taken by the famous Belarusian vocalist Yan Zhenchak. In 2020, the single Under the Dome was released. Currently, the group is actively working on new musical material and a concert program.
