I did a little snooping around before starting this thread, and found nothing about this album or band. They were from the Netherlands, and were formed in part from former members of The Tee Set, and the band that followed - After Tea. Frank van der Kloot was the guitarist. He did a couple of solo albums as well as playing on other artist's LP's (such as Barry Hay's "Only Parrots, Frogs and Angels.") Shell Schellekens was the drummer. He went on to produce. His most notable production work in my part of the world is Golden Earring's "Cut," "NEWS" and "The Hole" albums. Has anyone heard this album? I really like it! Word is that the album sold poorly and the record company wanted a hit single from them. So they recorded "Mary's Mamma" against their will. They hated the song. If you hear it, it's easy to see why. Decca reissued the album with "Mary's Mamma" in the kick-off slot. It didn't work! First of all, it's not a good song. Also, it was nothing like the rest of the music on the album. Aside from that track, the rest of the album is great! I recommend it.

I was reading my comment above and noticed a couple of errors. First, the album was released on Philips - not Decca (as can be evidenced from the photos displayed by the kind poster above). Second, the way I worded the beginning of my post makes it seem as though there was no information about this album or band anywhere on the internet. I was looking around on this site prior to starting this thread and found nothing. I wanted to clear up those two points.
