Arrowwood is the psychedelic folk project of British-born musician Chelsea Robb, now residing in the United States. Inspired by Wicca and the wonders of nature, the enigmatic artist has released four albums of ethereal, ghostly "forest folk" from 2006 to 2017, including a split release with like-minded American group Novemthree. Aside from guitar and voice, the multi-instrumentalist adorns her albums with exclusively acoustic instruments such as flute, harmonium, sitar, bouzouki, harp, hurdy-gurdy and singing bowls. Ya tryin' to keep us busy??  First taste is OK, but I've only sampled one album.  ------------- let's just stay above the moral melee prefer the sink to the gutter keep our sand-castle virtues content to be a doer as well as a thinker, prefer lifting our pen rather than un-sheath our sword |
