Johnson and Reider later recruited bassist Ian Mann (formerly of Ghoulgotha) and drummer Charles Koryn (also of Ascended Dead and Ghoulgotha), and between 2014 and 2017 VoidCeremony released a trilogy of EPs via Blood Harvest - Dystheism, Cyclical Descent of Causality and Foul Origins of Humanity - each demonstrating an increasing aptitude for technicality and progressive songwriting. By 2017, VoidCeremony would again be whittled down to the core of Johnson and Reider, with drummer Dylan Marks (of Eukaryst and Beekeeper) performing as a guest musician on Foul Origins....

VoidCeremony later signed to 20 Buck Spin and released their debut LP, Entropic Reflections Continuum: Dimensional Unravel, in 2020, with Koryn once again on drums as a permanent member and bassist Damon Good (of StarGazer and Mournful Congregation) as a session musician. Reider would leave VoidCeremony to be replaced by multi-instrumentalist Philippe Tougas (of Chthe'ilist and First Fragment), with Good elevated to full-time bassist. In early 2022, the band released the At the Periphery of Human Realms EP, presenting material recorded concurrently with their upcoming sophomore album.
