STRANGE POP is intended as a tribute album to the time of analog instruments, to raw recording; it is Michał Dziadosz composer, singer and multi-instrumentalist of the group ILUZJON whose existence I knew with 'No Phantoms In' who is at the helm; he is accompanied by three great guitarists, Michal WOJTAS from AMAROK, Michal KIRMUC from COLLAGE (whose CD I am impatiently awaiting) and Maciej SOCHON; he offers vintage progressive rock from the 70s on PINK FLOYD, SOFT MACHINE, TANGERINE DREAM and LUNATIC SOUL, which shows that prog rock is alive and well in Poland. Let's get comfortable to see at what level of regression we will be able to fall on this nostalgic vintage album.

Michal Dziadosz: Vocals, bass, synths, rhythms, flute With: Michal Wojtas(Amarok): Guitars (1,2) Maciej Sochon (Seasonal): Guitars (4,5) Michal Kirmuc (Collage): Guitars (6)
1. Quiet Storm (5:48)
2. Goodbye Song (4:46)
3. Ex Oriente Lux (5:08)
4. Night Trip (5:45)
5. 432 Bars (14:17)
6. All This Hope (3:38)
    Total : 39’22’’

Most likely Crossover would be a good fit, I enjoyed the album quite a bit , save for the long electronic dirge that did not fit the bill, IMHO.

I never post anything anywhere without doing more than basic research, often in depth.
