Thanks for posting this. It'll be nice to help support the Ukrainian people in some way.

Not how it was in his 20s but not bad for 78. People be saying the same stuff about Paul McCartney, i mean, come on, theyre frickin old, you cant expect them to sound perfect. Both Roger and Paul have outstanding voices for their age.

^ I believe Gilmour is singing much better than Waters, though. For that matter (though unrelated to Floyd) Jon Anderson has kept his voice amazingly well for his age too (perhaps two of the singers that have kept their voice better).

I didn't expect this, perhaps I would have waited for this release before buying the download. I'll have to think if I want it physical (if it were a new album, I wouldn't doubt it, though).

You actually think they might make a new album?

Nitin Sawhney is a great, unexpected and original addition to the band and i think that 4 piece COULD produce something of real value.. but i dont think David Gilmour can be bothered. He has said in interviews that he is quite lazy and needs something to really pique his interest.. obviously the Ukraine situation has done this.. but will it create the momentum for an lp?? i somehow doubt it but i do think there is potential there if it did..

^ David Gilmour is 76 years old, I think he deserves a break.

It certainly wasnt a criticism; but a fair number of artists his age are still producing new material. I guess he's got nothing to prove.. but he has been on record a number of times saying that it really takes a lot to get him fired up. In the end he's entirely earned his right to do (or not do) what he jolly well likesSmile
