So from my poll last week, the most voted song was a tie between Nothing At All and The Advent of Panurge. But now I have eliminated everything down to the top eleven. The three songs that I will choose are: Nothing At All, In a Glass House, and On Reflection.

Nothing, Wreck, Advent for me.

Interesting (to me) to see that there is only one track from Three Friends that made the final. Not that it is a particular favourite of mine, but I always assumed it was one of the most popular GG albums.

Pantagruel's Nativity has remained a favorite ever since I first heard it. If someone asked me to introduce this progrock-thing in a handful of songs, it would have been an obvious contender. What I instantly loved-and still love about prog, is all there. If I had to mention two additional songs, I'd probably go for The Advent of Panurge and Schooldays, but I love all the first six songs in the poll. Also Cogs in Cogs packs a punch. The rest are all impressive and interesting, but they haven't really "captured my heart".

For me GG are not a band for whom I have favourite songs. Each lp is more about feel than individual highlights.

I doubt that anyone will vote here again, so I am going to do a tiebreaker between Wreck and Cogs in Cogs to make a top ten. Wreck is chosen without even thinking about it.
