(QRN's musical style is symphonic prog, derived from the late 1970s-early 80s period, and reminiscent of Genesis, King Crimson, Focus, UK, and Procol Harum. The music is highly melodic, relies upon diatonic and modal tonal vocabulary, and occasionally incorporates classical music themes and motifs as part of its structure. The orchestration tends to be textured, with atmospheric keyboards, 6-  and 12-string guitars, various orchestral instruments and sometimes, a voice.
