RIP. I know Ryuichi is ill, but I'd not heard about Yuki. A tremendous loss, indeed.

Very sad indeed. And I still don't get how the media (BBC et al) report on complete nonentities and miss out on significant artists (such as Alan White or Jeff Beck).

^ Jeff Beck was reported on , but often a lot of musicians don't make the grade. For instance nothing was said about Greg Lake's passing but Keith Emerson's was reported. I suppose its a little subjective to say the least.

RIP.
YMO was a band that cut through. Firecracker is such a great track that I bought one of the live albums. I'll dig that out and play it later as my own personal tribute.

Really sad news. Certainly a very talented drummer. May he Rest In Peace.

Takahashi was incredible.  YMO is legendary ground breaking music.  His later bands Pupa and METAFIVE are awesome.  For me personally, Pupa was amazing.  It was like Kraftwerk meets Burt Bacharach.  They only had 2 albums, but they were amazing.

RIP Yukihiro Takahashi.
