Though more oriented toward a jazz-rock fusion style, there are so many other styles and influences expressed in this NYC-based band that I have to submit them toward the Crossover sub-genre.

GADADU for Crossover
With a kaleidoscopic sense of time and texture, GADADU weaves odd-meter grooves, synth-spiked orchestral arrangements, and unorthodox song forms into a dreamy, soulful sound. Formed in 2013 by bandleaders Hannah Selin and Nicki Adams, GADADU has since expanded to include Patrick Adams (trumpet), Ayumi Ish*to (tenor sax), Daniel Stein (bass) and Arthur Vint (drums)
